While every stone in the Aerie necklace may be different, the process is always the same: The marriage of natural stone and precious metals, carefully embedded with time and precision.

Choose between: Variscite (Utah), Dinosaur Bone (Utah), Bloodstone, Purple Jade (unknown origin) or Picture Jasper (Oregon)
Raw stone is meticulously inlaid, cut and polished in a handmade sterling silver setting. Both the inlay and the silver work is 100% handcrafted in my Fort Collins, CO studio.
Pendant is a little less than .5" in diameter
Choose between a 16, 18 or 20" chain
High shine finish
Stamped on the back with .925 for sterling purity
Inlay is a timely process that requires multiple stages such as: Sourcing the raw stone material, slicing it into reasonably sized pieces for the project at hand, carving down the stone to ensure a proper, secure and precise fit and polishing it down to the final stage. From start to finish, these pieces often take days, if not weeks or months depending on the size and intricacy of the piece.
